How We Began
Cindy Tysinger, CEO and Founder of GSATi has over 30 years of experience in the field of Executive Management and IT. She started out in 1974 working for the Department of Defense Industry (Navy and Army) serving at companies including SAIC, Hughes Aircraft, and Boeing/GTE (Verizon); before moving into IT Consulting. Over the last 8 years she worked in the commercial industry as CIO overseeing a multi-national $100M company’s transformation into a $400M Global public organization. While maximizing Green IT initiatives through power consumption, server and printer consolidation, server virtualization and centralization, remote access, telecommuting and 24/7 follow the sun monitoring.
As CIO and Senior VP of IT at Mannatech, Cindy has significant experience working with many top tier consulting firms while partnering in business and technology engagements. She found throughout the industry, companies had difficulty finding qualified consultants who had actually performed successfully in the role they were consulting for. High performing employees often couldn’t operate at their full potential because leaders unintentionally bring consultants on board as subject matter experts only to discover the consultant lacks the complex skills and hands on knowledge of the business or technical skills they were hired for.
This gave Cindy the idea to launch GSATi; a company fully staffed with only qualified business and technical staff who have successfully performed, and most importantly are fully accountable within their discipline. This concept ensures that our clients receive only the most successful consulting and implementation experience; by leveraging education, certifications and most of all knowledge gained from years of direct hands-on experience.
